Montserrat is a country in North America. The official name of Montserrat is the Crown Colony of Montserrat. The people of Montserrat are called Montserratians. The country is situated in the Caribbean, an island in the Caribbean Sea, southeast of Puerto Rico.

Sports have always played an important role in developing the social and cultural structure of Montserrat and other countries. When it comes to designating a sport as the official symbol, Cricket is considered the country’s national sport.

Father Ignacio Duarte Quirós is the founder of Montserrat. The country’s national anthem was written by Howard Fergus, and composed by George Irish.

The country’s national hero is Queen Elizabeth II.

Numerous organizations are working on a global level to improve the current state of affairs and to collaborate in order to establish and maintain constructive partnerships. Montserrat is a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM or CC). Montserrat collaborates with them to organize, analyze, and address various events and situations.
