Abkhazia is a country in Europe. The official name of Abkhazia is the Republic of Abkhazia. It shares borders with Georgia. The people of Abkhazia are called Abkhaz. The country is situated on the Eastern coast of the Black Sea, south of the Greater Caucasus mountains in Northwestern Georgia.
